A great, smooth, sunny sailing day. For the first time ever on "Mais Oui" we set the cruising spinnaker Tom bought before the trip. The ship was nicely moving with 5 knots and we decided to get out the rubber dinghy, motoring around the mother ship and taking pictures. Sheer bliss. We all said "oh, so this is the wild Pacific, heh?" and Henry (the only crew with real ocean sailing experience) reminded us that this was the big exception, not the rule.
